The membership

RooPlay Membership is offered by RooToys Pty Ltd ("RooToys", "we", "us") at our Lismore NSW store. A membership gives the named child (the "member") member token rates in the RooPlay arcade, bonus prize-wall tickets, birthday party discounts and access to the monthly members' play night. The kids play zone is free for everyone — no membership needed.

Memberships are personal to the named member, are not transferable and may not be resold. Photo or name verification may be requested at entry.

Membership is open to children aged 0–16. Members under 12 must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times while in RooPlay.

Membership fees are payable in advance, in-store. Current pricing is displayed at the counter and may change with 30 days' notice; changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.
Playzone & arcade rules

Parents and carers remain responsible for the supervision and behaviour of their children at all times. RooPlay staff tocilitate play - they do not provide childminding

Socks must be worn in the soft-play and ball-pool areas. No food or drink inside play areas

Equipment arcade machines and demo toys must be used as intended. We may ask anyone who uses equipment unsafelv, or behaves in a way that affects other visitors, to leave; repeated issues may lead to suspension of membership without refund

Arcade tokens, tickets and prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Member token rates apply only when the member is present

Children who are unwell should not attend. We may refuse entry on health-and-safety grounds.
Bookings, parties & members' nights

Birthday party discounts apply to the member's own party booking, once per membership year, subject to availability.

Party bookings require a deposit. Deposits are refundable with at least 7 days' notice of cancellation, or transferable to a new date with at least 48 hours' notice.

Members' play nights are subject to capacity. Entry is first-come, first-served unless a booking system is advertised for a particular event

We may occasionally close RooPlay (or parts of it) for private events, maintenance or safety reasons. Where a closure affects a members' night, we will offer an alternative date.
Payments, renewals & cancellation

Memberships run for 12 months from the date of purchase and do not renew automatically, We'll remind you when it's time

You may cancel within 14 days of I refund, provided the membership has not been used. After that, memberships are non-refundable except as required by law. consumer

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded.
Safety, liability & property

Play involves inherent risks. To the extent permitted by law, RooToys is not liable for iniury, loss or damage arising from failure to follow posted rules or staff directions, or from risks inherent in ordinary active play.

Please don't bring valuables into the play areas. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal property, though our lost-property box at the counter works hard.

Any incident or injury should be reported to staff immediately so we can help and record it.
Photos & privacy

We collect only the details needed to run the membership (member name, age, parent/ carer contact). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and never sell member data.

We sometimes photograph events for our socials. We will always ask a parent or carer before publishing any photo in which your child is identifiable, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Adults may only photograph their own children while in RooPlay
RooPlay play card conditions

Treat vour play card like cash. Lost, stolen or damaaed cards will not be replaced or refunded unless registered - register your card in venue to protect vour balance.

Card credit is redeemable for game play at RooPlay only and is not redeemable for cash. The card is reloadable; loads are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The card and any unused credit and e-tickets expire 12 months from the date of last use.

Tickets and points won are stored on the card and are redeemable for prizes in venue only. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash

Do not bend the card, expose it to heat, or place it near strong magnets.
Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in-store and on this at least 30 days before they take effect
